Dar Mousa is a specialized insurance advisory services company providing such advices and consultations directly to the Saudi public, foreign investors and Saudi Legislators. Dar-Mousa came into being as a direct result of the positive changes in the Saudi Insurance Market. The objective of Dar-Mousa is to provide professional advice to market players in line with the regulatory directives. Dar Mousa Insurance Advisory Services is built around Mousa Al-Rubaian. Mousa graduated in 1975 with BSc Electrical Engineering and joined the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, a government lending institution specializing in lending to the emerging industrial companies and electric utilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He spent two years in New York attending the credit analysis program with Chase Manhattan Bank and Stone & Webster Management Consultants. He also attended the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School. In 1986, he founded NCCI the first licensed insurance company in Saudi Arabia and made it the largest insurance company in the Arab World. NCCI writes only business emanating from Saudi Arabia or Saudi interests. After a successful IPO of NCCI early in 2005, he decided to leave NCCI and pursue private interest. During the years as CEO of NCCI; he helped transform the whole insurance industry in Saudi Arabia. Currently Mousa is involved in setting up the first reinsurance company in Saudi Arabia, the first actuarial firm, helping set up an insurance company, a services company for the motor insurance industry and setting up a medical third party administrator, amongst other activities.
